About Teatro Coliseum

The Teatro Coliseum is on the ground floor of the Coliseum building on Gran Vía, built in the early 1930s to designs by Casto Fernández-Shaw and Pedro Muguruza for the composer Jacinto Guerrero. The building is protected as a Site of Cultural Interest and keeps its stained glass, allegorical paintings and copper light fittings; a full renovation lets it stage large musicals. See what is on through Madrid's official tourism page.
