Los Jerónimos is the small district between the Paseo del Prado and the Retiro, with the Prado and the church of San Jerónimo el Real at its heart. Across the avenue, the Barrio de las Letras climbs towards Sol.

The Prado, the Thyssen, the Botanic Garden and, at Atocha, the Reina Sofía.
El Retiro
The lake and the Palacio de Cristal.
Museums by day, Las Letras by night.
